Faith is something that we all have. It is woven into our lives in many different ways. We have faith that our car will carry us safely to our destination. We have faith that the chair we sit in will hold us up or that our lungs will work properly to allow us to breathe.
So what exactly is faith? God's Word illustrates it beautifully. "Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see." (Heb. 11:1, NLT)
Basically, it is believing that God is who He says he is and that He will do ALL that he promised to do! We base our foundation of faith on Jesus Christ. Psalms says that "they will declare...HE is my Rock!"
